I know.. I know.. Avocados are full of fat! How can anything fatty be good for you, and being in great shape, why do you choose Avocados?? (I was hoping you would ask..)

An Avocado is considered as the complete food, so much that in certain areas of the world, babies are weaned (Weaned-To take Nourishment other than by suckling.. Thanks webster!) using mashed avocadoes. This fruit is extremely rich in Vitamin A and Potassium. It is one of the most beneficial anti-inflammatory foods that aids in skin cell repair & has traditionally been used to heal numerous skin problems & allergic irritations. The pulp is also believed to be both an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal!

A Few Benefits of Avocado:

  1. Used in some cultures to totally heal sexual problems
  2. Great antioxidant!
  3. Avocado aids in the healing of people with digestive and circulatory problem
  4. Avocados properties can used as a paste to heal skin rashes and smoothen free radical damage
  5. Avocado is loaded with Beta-Carotene (Leading natural substance in preventing cancer).

When you hear the words, “healthy fat”, start connecting that to Avocados. This fruit is so full of antioxidants and nutrient rich substances that it has earned the award “the complete food” (as I noted earlier). Even though it contains “fat” this healthy form of fat can play a key part in your weight loss to lean program.

Let’s see the benefits:

  • Its monounsaturated fat speeds up the basal metabolic rate, as compared with saturated fat.
  • Its high fat content gives a quicker feeling of satiation (”fullness”), thus helping to reduce overeating.
  • Its high fat content makes an overall sound diet more palatable, reducing the temptation to binge on foods high in sugars or saturated fats.
  • Its rich supply of vitamins and minerals also makes the diet more wholesome and satisfying and thus more conducive to overall health and to moderation in consumption.

I eat one whole Avocado everyday.. This is great fat for your body and would make a super addition to your fat loss diet! I used to think it tasted like grass, but now I love sinking my teeth into it. Make Avocadoes a part of your diet, and watch the weight come under control, your skin glow, and your immune system receive a nice kick in the rump!
